“Great and Chic Brunch Spot in Roppongi”
Mercer Brunch is a trendy restaurant in Roppongi that attracts the chic and well-to-do Tokyoites who live in the neighborhood. On weekends, they serve a French toast brunch that is actually reasonably priced considering the neighborhood. I recently went with two friends and despite not having a rese...rvation they were able to accommodate us (I was admittedly surprised). I had the fried chicken French toast, my friend had a grilled salmon, and my other friend had like an avocado tartare. I liked mine, although it came with a side of couscous which I thought was strange and unnecessary accompaniment. The French toast is made from a delicious and fluffy brioche and I appreciate that they serve it separately so you can eat it apart from your food. My friends liked their food, but were not “wow’d” by it. Overall, I would definitely go back here, if nothing for the atmosphere. Definitely make a reservation if you want to go, and definitely don’t come dressed like a scrub – you will ruin the ambiance!

“Chic place to hang out!”
The french toast is totally a satisfaction. Highly recommended! Salad is surprisingly yummy even by the look of it. Environment is comfortable and relax, perfect for hanging out on days off with friends and family. For sure I would like to come back again.

“It’s a pastry, not a French Toast.”
Since I work with food, I can easily figured on how they make their french Toast here. It’s not a sliced bread soaked in sweetened and flavored milk. It’s a pastry that is baked individually with a “custard like filling” that when heated, the moist will distribute to the bread. It is good but it’s n...ot worth it to come all the way here to try it. There are more restaurants out there that makes good breakfast.

“A Well Deserved Queue”
We’ve been walking by this place for many years and at it always has a line for brunch. We finally decided to get in the line and we have regrets...that we didn’t get in this queue the first time we walked by. The brunch here is truly exceptional. A classy yet comfortable environment is combined wit...h absolutely delicious food. The French Toast is a must; light and full of flavor. Don’t make the same mistake we did, just get in line and enjoy!

“Wow! Best French Toast I've ever had.”
Not kidding, this place has the best French toast I've ever had. It's so fluffy, warm, and perfect. You can have just the French toast or pair it with something else from their menu. Price is around 1700-2000 yen per person. Definitely definitely come here if you get the chance. Came on Saturday 11...am, quite crowded, but no line. I'm coming back here next time I'm in Tokyo for sure.
