“Refused Service”
seats were available. He asked how many and I responded one. He said “Full”. I’m not Japanese. The small place only had Japanese. Menu was not exciting but after being in Japan for 2 weeks I wanted a pizza. In a way I’m happy he didn’t seat me as the combinations were strange.

“Excellent choice for Pizza and friendly service in Gyoenmae”
Romana's is spotless with very friendly owner and staff. The pizzas and antipasto he made for me was by far the best I've had outside of Italy. Had such a great experience I visited twice during my two weeks in Tokyo.

“Pizzas Japanese style. ”
My friends and I went here to try something other than Japanese cuisine. The place looked cute and the weather was nice enough for us to sit outside. It was also very busy which most times is a good thing. There tried really hard to give as an Italian experience and I'll give them credit for that. T...heir pizzas were tasty and the service was great but we think they only had one oven because we ordered 4 pizzas and got one at the time. Give it a try though, the place has a great atmosphere and its right in front of a massive park out of all the busy area of Shinjuku.

Delicious dishes, the chef uses the best ingredients, and he is not afraid to innovate. If you want something not on the menu, just ask him and he will whip it up. I have never been disappointed there.

“Super delicious, great experience!”
My girlfriend and I recently had an opportunity to dine at Romana on a recent trip to Tokyo. Our lovely Japanese friend brought us here for dinner at the recommendation of her boss. The chef and staff at Romana are so extraordinarily lovely! They went to great lengths to make us feel welcome, even... though we speak very little Japanese. They even prepared a superbly tasty vegan for my girlfriend, which I'm pretty sure wasn't even a menu option (a consideration that not many restaurants would make!). The wines were picked for us to complement the wonderful multi course meal. The experience made for such an awesome night, and we will definitely visit Romana again!
