It was one of the best culinary experiences in Japan we had. We celebrated a very close friends marriage anniversary. The 7 course meal was exceptional. Even more worthwhile was the service we received. Chef and his supporting staff were always smiling and catered to all our needs. We were all so mo...ved when the Chef came out to see us off at the taxi. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tokyo that is looking for a true Japanese food experience with exceptional service. Do make reservations in advance. Wonderful! The decor is fabulous, only surpassed by the food. Choice of three courses. Like most Japanese restaurants of this class, the chef asks in advance if you have any dislikes and then the rest is "makase," meaning the course is planned by the chef based what's best that day. Private rooms... available, but the counter seats are very nice, too. The staff is personable and friendly. Nice wine/sake list, also.
