“Chinese style restaurant near the National Museum of Modern Art”
We had just spent a few hours at the National Museum of Modern Art on a rainy Saturday and went looking for some lunch before we tackled the Imperial Palace. We found this place a short walk from the museum. We utilized our google translate to examine the menu and found that they had several lunch... sets available for very reasonable prices. I went for the beef set and my wife went for the mapo tofu. Our server spoke a little English and seemed very pleased to accommodate us despite our lack of Japanese language skills. The service was quite attentive and we were treated to some complimentary coffees at the end of our meal. It was quiet this particular afternoon, though I could hear the sound of the Seattle Mariners playoff game playing on a television nearby. Our meals came very quickly and we enjoyed some hot tea on a cool rainy day. Not a bad choice if you happen to be over at the Modern Art museum.
