“Great food, lovely atmosphere, and wonderful people”
We tried the chef's tasting menu, and while I'm usually a big fussy when it comes to sushi, I loved every bite. The chef and his apprentice were charming and warm. The setting was low key and comfortable, allowing patrons to be present for the preparation and presentation of their food. Highly recom...mended!

“Disappointing lunch”
Was excited to visit after reading reviews and being in Kanazawa which is known for fresh fish and some of the best sushi. We had the chefs choice menu for lunch which consisted of 10 pieces of nigiri. None of the fish tasted or looked fresh and several pieces tasted extremely fishy. The rice also w...asn’t cooked particularly well and the construction of the nigiri was poor. Unfortunately despite high expectations this was the worst sushi meal we’ve had in Japan across 2 visits and a dozen cities.

“Interesting”
8 of us came for evening meal to try an authentic Japanese sushi restaurant, around 15 courses, some good but not to my liking although my friends enjoyed it. Very friendly family & courteous.

“FANTASTIC Authentic Sushi Meal”
Our tour guide took a group of us to this wonderful little sushi restaurant to experience what she considers the "best" sushi in Kanazawa. We were not disappointed. We all sat at the sushi bar and ate the chef's choice. The seafood was fresh and extremely tasty. We were served in the traditional... way. I loved every single bite ... and we had a lot of bites. Everything from squid to flounder to several special types of tuna. We had a great time. They have Kirin on tap, and that really enhanced the sushi flavors. I also loved their pickled ginger. It was a sweet pickling; certainly tasted different than in the states. The dishes were traditional, and we learned a lot as well. Great time was had by all.

“One of the bast sushi bar”
You can find many sushi topping you can not eat at other sushi bars. The master purchased many fishes from market and fishermen by himself. Egg (Tamago) is fantastic but sometimes sold out. So, if you can get it, you are lucky! You can also find excellent Japanese sake.
