“Local, tasty, large portions and reasonably priced”
A small local place with just a few seats. You order with a cash only ticket machine outside. You can use a big denomination bill for several orders. Give them the ticket and specify take out or wait to eat in. Reasonably priced, filling and pretty good.

“Perfect place for curry rice lovers”
I dropped by for an early dinner after touring the city. The restaurant is quite small but was nearly deserted when I went there (probably due to lack of tourists from COVID-19). You order curry from a vending machine by the entrance. The cutlet curry was something to die for, and the curry sauce wa...s absolutely irresistible.

“Their black curry is amazing!”
Could this really be a five star restaurant? Well, yes, in the context of what it is. You don't enter a tiny curry joint with a TV broadcasting in the corner expecting a fine dining experience (at least I hope not). You go to enjoy a good Kanazawa style black curry, and, man, do these folks de...liver. I'm sure that you're familiar with the conventional Japanese curry, which I love. But Turban's black curry has layers of complex flavor that far exceed the standard. I loved everything about it, ate every bit of the generous serving, and scraped that plate clean. As a comparison, we later tried Go Go Curry, which was frankly underwhelming. If I had eaten it before Turban's I probably would have loved it. Service is fine and friendly. But go for the black curry. I didn't order the large combination plate because I didn't think I was that hungry, but soon regretted the decision. The pork and chicken cutlets are great, though.

“So worthy to go”
Like their curry, quick and good price. The rice is sweet and just yummy. We ordered the pork cutlets and just wow. My wife ordered Hamburger curry and also delicious.

“Kanazawa Style Curry”
We had a great lunch at Turban Curry. I had tonkatsu & curry and my husband had a combo plate that had tonkatsu, hamburg steak and two sausages with curry. The sausages were surprisingly good. The curry is very rich and different from other Japanese curries we had (Kanazawa has their own style). It'...s a super casual place with a counter and a few tables. It was pretty busy when we were there with a lot of businessmen and schoolkids having lunch. We seemed to be the only tourists. Service was very friendly and there is an English menu. Recommended!
