“A unique experience at coil”
The atmosphere at this restaurant is incredibly cozy and relaxing! We ordered the vegan set along with the vegan gyoza. Making our own sushi was such a fun and unique experience, and the food itself tasted amazing! Our waiter was exceptionally friendly, patient, and happy to answer all of our questi...ons. On top of that, the service was fast. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Kanazawa!

“Everything was a delightful surprise and such a fun experience!”
Everything was a delightful surprise and such a fun experience! Even for us as Japanese people, this felt like a rare and unique find. The moment of surprise when the food arrived in an okamochi (traditional carrying box), and the view of the table lined with beautiful dishes served on Kutani ware, ...was simply spectacular. It looked just like a breathtaking landscape. We booked for three: two adults and one child (7 years old). Since the two of us adults love our drinks, we decided to order the okamochi-set for two, plus some à la carte dishes. This turned out to be the perfect choice! We got to fully enjoy the unique experience while savoring a wide variety of flavors. Personally, while the sushi toppings were delicious, the salted sweet shrimp (amaebi no shiokara) was absolutely exquisite. Of course, the matcha-making experience was also exceptional. I bet not many Japanese people have actually whisked their own matcha before! For our child, every single moment was filled with pure joy. This wonderful restaurant truly embodies what we firmly believe in: that food is a form of entertainment. 全てが驚きで楽しい体験でした。 日本人でもなかなか体験したことないかも。 オカモチで運ばれてきた時の驚き、九谷焼に載せられた食材たちが並んだテーブルの様子は、圧巻。 それは美しい風景でした。 大人2名子供(7歳)1名の3名での予約でした。 呑助の私たちは、2人分のokamochi-setとアラカルトという選択をしました。 大正解。 体験も楽しめ、かついろんなお料理を楽しめました。 個人的には、寿司ネタも美味しいけど 甘エビの塩辛が絶品。 もちろんお抹茶体験も、格別。 日本人でもお抹茶たてたことある人いないのでは。子供には全てが楽しい時間だったとも思います。 食がエンターテイメントであるという、 私たちも信じて疑わない、それをまさに表現いただいている素敵なお店でした。

“Not just a meal - a treasured experience!”
Not just a delicious meal but an amazing cultural experience. We learned to make our own maki sushi rolls and gunkan maki "battleship" sushi. Then we made our own match using traditional techniques. So much fun and something our family will always remember. Thank you for a wonderful time!
