“Very good and pleasant”
Had dinner for two tonight. Very warm and charming welcome. Good and original choice of plates. Superb quality of ingredients and excellent service. Very nice atmosphere. What else ??

“small treasure”
this restaurant was a concierge recommendation so new to us and very close to hotel it has a counter area and a tiny dining room at the back which was perfect fect for the six of us but hard work for the charming waitress to get around really nice team of people and excellent food -especially a b...rilliant, lightly fried small fish which was heaven really enjoyed it!

“Nice atmosphere but expensive with mixed service”
The interior of this small restaurant was bright and comfortable, but the food quality was mixed and expensive. The dishes tended to be small when compared to similar Japanese restaurants that I have experienced. The quality of some dishes was good, such as the sashimi, although it was expensive. ...The grilled meat was also good but very small, and the miso soup was average and expensive. Service was mixed with our server not taking the time, for example, to pour sauce over a dish cooking on a hot plate resulting in my splattering the boiling sauce as I tried to pour it while almost burning my hand. The restaurant also added a poorly explained 10 percent service charge on top of the seat charge and did not offer any receipt until I asked for one. From our experience it is hard to recommend this restaurant.

“Amazing jewels!”
We just had dinner tonight and it was AMAZING! Every dish was fresh, amazing selection of Sake (including regional one) and price is much reasonable than we thought. Young Owner and wife are working together, very friendly cheerful couple and very sophisticated food presentation along with beautifu...l dishes. We ordered Sashimi assortment, Shirako, Tsumore soup, Yaki Onigiri, Steamed crab dish and salad and it was all good. Salad was very simple but young Mizunaga was very fresh and I loved it. I highly recommend going for dinner if you are in the area. Can’t wait to go back!

“Friendly small restaurant”
The restaurant is in an area with a lot of small restaurants, many of which are not interested in tourist customers. The chefs and staff at Kanazawa Gin are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is bright and modern and has an English menu. The food is high level Japanese, meticulously prepare...d and presented. A memorable evening in Kanazawa.
