Daishogun Kanazawa

The Daishogun Kanazawa is a beautiful restaurant located in a small alley in the city center. We had our hotel call the place and make a reservation for us. Upon entering you’re led to your own séparée/booth where you can enjoy your dinner in private. Quickly our waiter introduced himself. He had s...tudied in the US and did an amazing job in explaining the different cuts and giving you this perfect introduction to Japanese curtesy and cuisine. The food was delicious. If you’d like to try out Wagyu A5 this is the place. You can order different courses and I can recommend the Nobunaga. In sum: a beautiful experience you can add to your memories of Japan. We loved it.

We were a party of 8, two families with rowdy kids and this was the best yakiniku experience we’ve ever had. Our server, who spoke perfect English because he’s from Tennessee originally, was the absolute best host and side table chef. He made our dinner incredibly memorable and was so accommodating ...to our needs. We were in a rush to get somewhere, and they made sure to prepare everything just for us. The food was absolutely outstanding. I don’t think I’ve had such delicious cuts of meat before in my life. Each course was better than the previous and the presentation was above and beyond. You will absolutely have a fantastic experience here and I highly recommend you go!

Private room, English friendly enough. Good champagne and cocktails, very good beef at good prices. Included garment bags to protect jackets or other clothes from yakiniku smoke.

Everything was excellent. The taste was amazing. Every dish was served by Nano, a kind, smiling and very nice girl who made this excellent dinner even more enjoyable. In addition to the main menu, which is also good for two, I recommend the Korean rice with vegetables.
