“Excellent all the way around!”
Excellent yakitori and amazingly good service. Sit at the kitchen bar if you can. We had the burnt miso hot pot and additional skewers. Get a reservation the day before—it is popular for a very good reason. Also and excellent value. I hope we’ll find more restaurants this good on the rest of our tri...p. Kanazawa! 🙏🥰

“The BEST chicken hot pot!”
We sat around the counter while the chefs cooked our skewers and made or hot pot in a wok/bowl on a hot plate right before us. It was so fun and delicious! He added one ingredient at a time into the rich burnt miso chicken broth. (This is not the black broth Kyoto is famous for) We had chicken meat... balls, then sliced chicken, which you eat first. He then adds the vegetables to cook, which you eat, and lastly your choice of rice or noodles are added. Noodles for us. We had a side of the cold duck breast with scallions, and a small basket of fried chicken thighs that were so good! We ordered too much food, but we were curious and we ate it all. Sake for me, beer for my hubby. It was a feast & highly recommend. Our bill came to around $80 USD. More than reasonable.

“Gem in Kanazawa”
Super nice atmosphere, the staff is very kind and funny, the quality of the products was very good, fine presentation and diverse menu. Highly highly recommend.

The ramen was amazing as well as the hot pot. We came with a baby they were super accommodating and friendly. The staff is so understanding! 💖💖💖
