We were nervous to try this place since we only speak English and needed totally gluten-free options. WHAT A GREAT PLACE! We sat at the bar where the chef patiently helped us, adjusted for dietary needs and even showed us the Japanese way of cooking and eating Hot Pot. Oh, and the food was AMAZING!...! We even came back 3 days later for a meal of skewers, right in front of. The chef immediately recognized us and jumped right in with GF suggestions for the skewers. Service and food are way above and beyond expectations!

Great yakitori bar and grill. We aren't massive fish fans, so eating in Japan is a challenge sometimes. So it was great to have this place recommended. Good range of food, freshly cooked in the open kitchen with bar seating around the periphery. It's simple stuff, but delicious. Great value of cour...se too. Bizarrely my favourite dish (in two visits) wasn't anything I ordered...it was pickled ginger brought as an appetiser. However the yakitori was great as was chicken tempura, beautifully cooked with moist chicken. Staff work hard but acknowledge arrivals and departures...a nice touch. I love the common courtesy touches in Japan.

Excellent yakitori and amazingly good service. Sit at the kitchen bar if you can. We had the burnt miso hot pot and additional skewers. Get a reservation the day before—it is popular for a very good reason. Also and excellent value. I hope we’ll find more restaurants this good on the rest of our tri...p. Kanazawa! 🙏🥰
