Dogo-no Machiya

Don't let the arcade entrance dissuade you: the. On-smoking section at the back is a lovely tatami mat room that looks into a great garden. The burgers were brilliant! Super tasty, with a slight Asian sauce spin.

Went back here after first visit. Burgers are great, especially the steak burger. You have to order a drink, but the food is very reasonable and very tasty. Service is extremely good. It's warm and cosy with friendly and welcoming staff. We ate out the back, which is the non smoking area and it was ...very attractive.

Came here because of good reviews from Trip Advisor, it really was a nice spot. The back part has beautiful garden view, in a tatami room. We had the fish burger which was their signature but rather thin on the filling. The cappucino was good and Dogo beer was excellent. The chiffon cake was serve...d as a lunch set, airy and fluffy, light and not too sweet. Will come back to try the other signature burger and mouthwatering dessert next time.

We stopped by for after dinner coffee and a bite...the layout of the place is beautiful at night. Coffee was great...so too was the burger.

The coffee may be a bit pricey, but the place is well worth it. Choosing the non-smoking area, I was led to the very back of the narrow building, to a lovely tatami room with a peaceful garden view. (There is also an area with Western-style seating). Original artwork and Japanese décor accents add t...o the relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast set I ordered was delicious and served on very nice pottery. I wish I could've stayed longer or come back.
