“Ehime specialty”
Ordered a set meal @ 2700 yen and it was really value for money with sashimi, karage, noodles, rice, tempura and salad. The service staff were friendly although they do not speak much English. Good place to try Ehime specialty dishes.

Recommend you make a reservation. You can feel Japanese traditional atmosphere at this restaurant. Food is very good of course, and the price is actually cheap. Ask their signature and try it.

“Great place for local cusines”
We enjoyed our dinner at Goshiki. We were pretty lucky that we didn't need to wait for a long time to be seated as we arrived at the restaurant at 6pm however, it was quite full already. We tried the famous boiled rice with raw sea bream and the jakoten. Everything is fresh and not too heavy. The ...price is very reasonable too.

“My favorite place in Shikoku.”
My favorite place in Shikoku. The menus are very traditional and display the best of the local cuisine. They also have menu in English what makes it less challenge when it comes to ordering. I watched the people around to see how they assembled the food. It is not so hard but it pays to watch or ...to ask.

“Acceptable restaurants for providing local cusines”
The interior of the restaurant is darker than the usual Japanese restaurant, and it's filled with an old house vibe and smell. The dishes we had are hot soup based soman and minced sea bream rice set. The rice didn't absorb the fish flavor as it should be. The flavor of both dishes are acceptable bu...t not exceptionally good compared to other options around Okaido area. We consider this restaurant a place to try somen and rice set but not a necessary stop here in Matsuyama as there are still better options available. The candy gift obatined from posting on Facebook is also pretty common and perhaps a little bit near the expiry date from the look of it. Overall, it's still a place to dine but do not expect exceptional flavors.
