“A fun izakaya”
We had a good time at this izakaya. We sat at the counter and were able to watch the food being cooked on the grill and by the fire. A menu in English was also available which was helpful. We ordered some yakitori which was good but the sauce lacked the sweet kick we are used to. The sashimi was ni...ce and the karaage chicken was a huge portion. My favourite was the spatula of rice covered in Sendai miso. This had all the umami flavour you could hope for, sweet, salty, a crunchy grilled top with soft rice underneath - so good. It’s a busy place and worth checking out for food and drinks.
