Had supper with my husband and used an American credit card. The bill was in US $ and didn’t think too much. What I learned later was that they added 3.75% charge to pay in US dollar. I didn’t ask to pay in US $ but they processed the bill in the way they could charge more on the bill. What a scamme...r. Don’t go this place, the food is not special and there are other options for similar food. If you do eat here make sure NOT pay using their currency conversion system, which adds extra charge!!!! Be aware of similar scamming at other places, it’s called dynamic currency conversion and it’s becoming common even in Japan. I’m embarrassed by this as a Japanese citizen!

I had their deluxe large pieces gyu-tan version, it tastes yummy with that charcoal aroma as well as amazing texture. We also had the miso flavoured gyu-tan too, it was very yummy too.

We ordered the special thick cut Shio Gyu-tan set and we're not disappointed - everything was perfect. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The accompanying negi soup comes without pepper (コショウ) and the staff will inform you that you may add to suit your taste. They will also tell you that yo...u can have more spicy miso nanban if you wish. Entire restaurant is smoke free. Monkey Majik dined here as well.
