I have been this shop in Tokyo area. My impression is expensive. I want to try beef tongue in Sendai visit this time. I found this shop. The 6 slice beef tongue dish menu is 1782yen. Including beef soup, hot Chiri, vegi. Taste is wonderful. I recommend you to meat real beef tongue taste.

Sendai is famous for grill beef tongue, so I was told. I was hungry at 4pm and so I walked in to this one near Aoba Dori station; as it was still opened and was not disappointed. I ordered their one of their set meal; see image. They were thick but soft, good grilling skill, not very chewy but a lit...tle too salty for my taste. The soup was good too, and the small cup of beef stew was also tasty. I enjoyed. However I went to another outlet and it was done as good.

First time for us to visit Sendai, and beef tongue was at the top of our must-eat-list. A friend of ours recommended "Rikyu" and "Kiwami Teishoku". Without doubts, this place is awesome. We took a seat at the counter and saw the chef cooking just in front of us. We were intrigued with his cooking an...d enjoyed gyutan both with our eyes and mouths. "Rikyu" has several restaurants in Sendai city. If you walk along the arcade street for shopping or something, this place would be very convenient. Even if it rains, the door is just within a walk from he arcade. We went there for dinner and not sure how crowded it would be around lunch time. We were lucky enough to grab a seat without waiting in line. It would be a good idea to contact them in advance if you have limited time.
