Located only 5-minute walking distance from the JR Sendai Station, we're an izakaya restaurant serving grilled aged beef tongue, oysters, sea squirt, sasakama (grilled fish cake), Kinka saba (chub mackerel from the sea around Kinkasan Island), and various other regional specialty cuisines representative of Miyagi Prefecture and the Tohoku region! "Our Okageya specialty dish "Great Catch in a Bucket" is an assortment of fresh sashimi selections, prepared from fresh fish local to Miyagi Prefecture purchased every morning, a must-try! A dish of 7 assorted sashimi selections such as tuna, salmon, etc., presented dynamically in a sushi bucket is visually impressive.
Our business hours are Mon~Thr from 14:30~, Fri~Sun/day before holidays/holidays from 11:30~. Guests interested in daytime drinking are welcome! Not to mention beer, we serve a wide range of Tohoku regional sake selections in our line-up of beverage selections.
