“Exquisite Tempura”
The most exquisite tempura place I ever been....The chief cooks the tempura on the counter and served the courses one by one. Super delicious and a lot of varieties. Very nice service and atmosphere... Of course, the bill is "high end" as well.

“Authentic Japanese Tempura restaurant”
A small neighborhood place with 2 chefs cooking the freshest food right in front of the guests. We didn’t have a reservation, but lucked out in being seated. It was delicious and one of our best dining experiences!

“Tempting Tempura”
Great Tempura cooked with a flourish in front of you. Nice sitting at the bar and watching. Helpful staff with sufficient English to guide you through what you are eating and which salts or sauces to use for each thing.

“Overpriced”
Why this restaurant received so many good reviews is beyond me considering all the other good restaurants in the area. The tempura was good to that I’ll agree but the price, not so much. Your going to pay a minimum of 4,100 ¥ for 2 shrimp, 2 pieces of fish and 4 vegetables, a bowl of miso, a bowl... of rice and a ‘ball’ of tempura at the end. We wound up paying $85 US for dinner ( we also had 2 beers). All in all the most expensive dinner by far in the 10 days we’ve been in Japan. Food good but not worth the price.

“So good!”
We hadn't been to a tempura restaurant before. We'll certainly go again. It's great to sit at the counter in front of the chefs and they serve you individually with fresh fried prawns, fish, squid mushrooms and vegetables. Absolutely delicious!
