Good okonomiaki restaurant in comparison with the large majority we can find in touristic area. Fredy and tasty Scallops, shrimps and clams.

“Let's do Okonomiyaki ...”

The place was full when we got there, so we had to wait (the good thing, in front of it there is a store where you can make time go faster). The main dish and the one that they cook in front of you (hibachi style) is the Okonomiyaki. In the traditional way or change the noodles for spicy noodles, th...is dish is amazing, all the ingredients combined are just the best, totally recommended for adventurer that want to feel the tradition in a bite.

“Okonomiyaki show!”

If you want to try a good okonomiyaki you should definitely try Sakura Maru. The place is really small, so be prepare to wait a little bit if you go at noon or at dinner time. The best spot is the one in front of the grill that allows you to see how the okonomiyaki is done: we had the regular one a...nd it was really good. The service was really friendly even though it was at the same time very polite in pure Japanese style. The bill was quite cheap so, if you are on the island, please stop and eat an okonomiyaki!

“Worth okonomiyaki of my life”

Tasteless, scrappy making, no attention to details whatsoever... I tried the spicy noodles without the sauce on top. A complete disaster and pricey while we're at it: 900 yen. Avoid!

“Brilliant and best place to eat okonomiyaki”

After the A-bomb obliterated Hiroshima, the remaining population had nothing to cook with so they used metal sheets over wood fires to make this excellent pancake dish - out of destruction comes innovation. With a base of pancake, followed by cabbage, any meat and egg topped with a sauce, this food... helped the survivors of the cataclysmic event. And the best in the world is cooked here.
