“Must Try”
The group had a lovely lunch here. The beef with rice came with an egg on top, which made the rice taste creamy. The unagi dish had three plump pieces which were full of flavour. The conger eel tempura was deep fried but we found the dish to be rather bland. The tempura of prawn and vegetables ...was much better. Prices were reasonable and the six dishes came up to just over 11000 yen. They have a nice landscaped garden as well.

“Classic Japanese Dining”
This restaurant is in a great location for lunch or dinner when visiting the scenic canal area of Kurashiki. We went with friends and everyone enjoyed the same set menu, with very fresh fish and pleasing presentations. Kids were welcome to romp in the tatami room where we were seated, though it woul...d be less convenient for families at one of the tables towards the front of the restaurant. The soup was delicious, but not suitable for the squeamish, since fish heads with eyes were included in several of the bowls. Other than that, this restaurant would be a fantastic introduction to Japanese food for someone who wants to try an authentic course meal at a reasonable price.
