“Simple Washoku Inspired by Oyster Seto Island Sea”
It was GOOD! Surprisingly! We saw this white "2019 Hatsukaichi Oysterlicious Best 8" Flag Sign outside. Apparently the place was chosen to experience something different and unique compared to other spots around Miyajima. We originally were going to go to the first floor shop directly across from ...the JR Ferry terminal but it was full. SO we were directed to the 2F second floor inside the Miyajima Coral Hotel. It was a good decision as we sat across overlooking Miyajima Island with an unobstructed view. The food was basically at tasting of everything oyster. Super fresh and super chill! The staff while they didn't speak English, it was no problem! They tried really hard and were very polite. You can tell they like what they do. That makes a difference when you are sitting there. The place is a bit typical looking but the food was awesome!

“Authentic food and great service ”
Stopped here for lunch before visiting the Itsukushima Shrine by ferry. It was busy and the only place left was in an authentic Japanese side room without seats. Thus added fun and atmosphere to the great food and local beer we had. Lots of courses that the waitress helped us with. Great experie...nce

“Amazing Food and Service”
The waitress that served us here was incredibly helpful. We barely spoke any Japanese and she only knew a few words of English. This didn't stop her from being an absolute delight and helping us understand what the food on offer was. The food to was incredibly delicious. One of our nicest meals in J...apan. I would definitely come back here again.
