“Great Dinner!!!”
We were staying in Shinjuku so I thought I made a reservation at Jaken there for a Thursday night. Well, no, I didn’t, I mistakenly made it for Friday. When we show up on Thursday of course there is no reservation. They ask if we still want dinner and we say yes. They call over to their other locati...on in Ikebukuro and they have room for us. Quick train ride and we’re there. Within a few minutes they also bring us fork and knife since we’re obviously Americans. We got to enjoy the 6 course waygu meal that was to die for. Everything perfectly prepared and all of it delicious. Beef, tuna, shrimp all of it was fantastic. What a great city and people. Oh, and dinner for 3 I think was less than 130usd. Highly recommend.

“Immaculate ”
Quite possibly the greatest meal I have ever received with the most attentive and caring service possible. Food was prepared in front of us on the grill by an incredibly skilled chef and the hosts were attentive and polite beyond measure. We were presented with the genuine impression that they respe...cted and enjoyed our presence equal to that of our impression of the while experience.
