“Restaurant often Closed”
This restaurant is in my "go-to" hotel when in Japan for business. However, the restaurant is quite small and therefore often closed for public evening dining due to it being reserved for special group occasions. So - when booking this hotel, plan to eat elsewhere in the evening as this restaurant... is unexpectedly closed to guests.

“Casual but high quality - italian and/or japanese”
I went here twice, walking along from the nearby West Wing of the hotel. There was a welcome and plenty of tables. The menu had an Italian theme to it, with pizzas and pasta, although the Japanese food was extremely good. It came quickly. The first night I had the fish-of-the-day rice bowl that was ...good and the second I had japanese beef spaghetti bolgnese. It was at least as good as I would have had in italy. There is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. It seemed a little bit expensive, and certainly would be if you had the wagyu beef!
