This restaurant was recommended to us from a friend who said that it had two stars in the Guide Michelin.It seems that they recently has lost their stars.Still it's a good restaurant in the upper class level .We had two of their more expensive menus.The food was very good but from a value for money... perspective it was really not worth the prize.The service was excellent and the staff is friendly.The restaurant is worth a visit but be careful when you choose the set menus.

First, the positive: the garden view and place are really nice. Now, the negative: - uninspired and pricey food (said otherwise, classic Italian fare at a 'deluxe' price - very bad value) - average service (forgot to give us back gloves, had to come pick them a few days later, quite unusual in Japa...n where customer is 'god' and such oversight would have been addressed by sending the 'lost item') - somewhat pretentious / stuck-up atmosphere There are so many great restaurants in Tokyo, no need to go there...

I came here for my birthday and this restaurant met my expectations. The service was impeccable, fast and friendly. While a little on the pricey side, definitely worth it for that special occasion.

You step in to another world once inside this converted house situated in the extremely fashionable Daikanyama district. We were taken by friends who frequent the place regularly, given its unusual openness to being dog friendly. We sat through a tantalizing 5 course supper starting with a cold, t...omato based fish soup. Next up was Pasta with pungent Matsutake mushroom strips which nearly blew our head off...amazing dish...sea bream (Tai) delicately flavored with an (Ikura) salmon roe sauce graced the table before a slither of filet atop a grilled vegetable assortment infused with rosemary leaves...a cheese assortment or home made tiramisu, a bit too sweet for our liking, finished off the evening before a decent cup of espresso ... Would we go back, in a heartbeat and I suspect with a well credit card capable of being well loaded..

I went to this restaurant knowing it would be highly sophisticated and probably not really Italian based on the menu selection. I was right. This is not the restaurant you go to for authentic Italian but the restaurant you go to for authentic! Every dish was visually appealing and a dance on your... tastebuds. Being from California we were at a loss on which wine to select so we selected a 2009 French red that was outstanding. Upon entry you are given a variety of breads with homemade butter. The only thing that would have made them better was if they were served warm. This restaurant is one to try once for a special occasion. It's an event not a place you go to weekly for your Italian fix. It's VERY expensive (least expensive price fixe menu is $78 USD) and everything else adds up pretty quickly. But really you can't find this type of restaurant just anywhere.
