“Surprised how small the pub was”
Visited the Harp in Hakata for some Irish food for lunch. There were food sets at good value but no Fish and chips etc until the dinner menu in the evening which was disappointing. I had a pizza which was very average with not many ingredients. Good pint of Guinness but not a great Irish Pub.

“Happy Hour”
The Hakata Hatp Irish Pub is a ladle back pub that you can have a conversation or just enjoy a Kilkenny Beer ( favorite) in its laid back atmosphere. It has live Irishusic every 6 weeks or so but not to loud that you can hear your self think. It is like a Starbucks with great beer and phenomenal sta...ff. Do your self a favor and go because worse case scenario you would end up in an irish pub will a Kilkenny. Cheers

“Nice place to hang out.”
I love the happy hours, from 5:30-7:00 P.M half price on the beers and appetizers. The pub is also a good place to mingle with the locals.

“Average Gaijin pub with overpriced beer”
We went to the Hap for a drink after St Patrick's day. The pints are 950 yen and you have to be seated/have a table to be served. I didn't enjoy the stuff atmosphere and we left after one drink.
