“A restaurant for fresh squid”
While staying in Hakata were were taken here for dinner by a local friend, very close to the station and nice and traditional. This place is all about very nice super fresh Sashimi. We ordered a squid Sashimi first up, they caught one out of the big tank and a minute or two later it was on the table... for us to eat, fresh alright the nerves were still very active. For me it was a little bit too chewy but the others loved the texture. The parts that were not eaten were taken from the table and returned as tempura, that was more to my liking, made it more tender . We then had quite a few other types of fish , lovely Sashimi. Well worth eating here , our friend told us this this business goes back a long time , very popular.

“Great place to have squid sashimi”
A few minutes walk from Hakata station, but it is located behind Hakata post office you it may be difficult to get there. There are photos in the menu so you might not have trouble to order. This place is great for squid sashimi. they are so fresh that the squid is moving, changing colors even there... are cooked into sashimi. You must take a movie and send them to your friends!
