“A present surprise Italian/Japanese fusion restaurant along the canal”
We had the 9 course tasting menu which I highly recommend. Food was extremely tasty and well presented. We considered the food is a fusion between Italian and Japanese. The salmon dish has a lovely source mixing in orange, butter and soya! The crab meat dish as a final touch before dessert paire...d superbly with rice. We cannot wait to dine at Trattoria Kikuya again, and again. Many thanks to the wonderful host, Youhei Yamada-san. An excellent restaurant. While you are visiting Fukuoka, perhaps you may also like to dine at Trattoria Kikuya's sister teppanyaki restaurant which is a short 10 minutes' walk from Trattoria.
