“Queue for the Hype, Stay for the Confusion”
The restaurant was full to the last seat and a queue was forming. So we thought it should be good and went in. We were the only non-Asian tourists. The portions of food were very small for the price, the bread served without being asked (even if you don't want it) is charged for. It took a long time... for the food we ordered to be served (the dishes arrived at different times and separately) and one dish we ordered was completely forgotten. The food was okay. The waitress was very distracted in her thoughts and communication in English was a bit difficult. The menu was in English/Japanese. I was asked how spicy I would like to have my food. I was given a piece of paper, which was entirely in Japanese, explaining the individual spice strengths. You could pay with cash or credit card.

“Chilling place”
Unlike other bars and pubs in Shibuya, Di Punto is a place you can have a talk without shouting although it’s still lively. We were lucky to have a reservation as many came in asking for tables and turned away. Good foods and drinks for reasonable prices. More like for nibbles than serious dining.

“Lively spot”
Located in a basement a short walk from Shibuya Hachiko exit, this bar is alive and full of a young crowd. I recommend the Serrano and iberico ham platter as a perfect match for a few glasses of wine. Not too pricey and attentive service.
