“Melt in your mouth sirloin ”
The meat was delicious melt in your mouth. We got the platter for 2 and with the vegetables, sirloin, ribs, rice soup and roast beef it was more than enough. Very friendly with japanese menu. Pricy but you get what you pay for. They even set our shoes up for us by the door when we were leaving. Woul...d come back again.

“Excellent meal with authentic flavours and ambience”
The beef was incredibly good - well-flavoured and succulent. We had a platter with 5 different cuts (4 of each type), rice, soup, vegetables and kimchi. I recommend the awamori (the subtle flavour and alcohol to balance well against the richness of the meat). The place itself has a natural vibe, and... the staff were great with us (despite our lack of Japanese ability). We've been in Japan for 4 months, and both agree this was our best meal. It wasn't the cheapest meal out (about 8500JPY total for two inc a drink each), but it was a huge meal, very high quality and completely worth it.

“Real taste of ishigaki !”
Excellent yakiniku. Booking is highly recommended. Their meat is delicious, we have tried assortment of pork and beef. Some part on the menu were sold out but everything was surper good. Seating plan is also good for couples or friends and families. Don't miss the chance to go there it is just 10 mi...n walk from main street !

“Yum!”
My husband and I found this place for dinner. There are a lot of little steakhouse spots around this area, but this one seemed to have the best value for the meal. The staff was very polite and helped us with the menu even though we don't speak much Japanese. All of the food was delish! We got t...o try some amazing Ishigaki beef, along with local veggies, soup, and salad that came with the meal plan (I think all in all it was around 5000 yen for my husband and I to split this filling meal). The atmosphere was really nice as well.

“Definitely one of the best in Ishigaki”
A lot of people say Yamamoto is the best in Ishigaki, but I don't like their attitude of locals-first. At Takesantei, I was impressed with the level of service - nothing special, but the way they greeted, took order, etc. Price was on the high-end, but the quality was definitely good. Definitely on... my recommendation list from the next time.
