This is a very nice little restaurant. The staff is super friendly and it is easy to talk with them. At least, two was speaking english. Choose counter seat so you will have the opportunity to watch professionals in action. they propose a good selection of natural organic wines. I saw many bottles... from lesser known regions I didn’t expect to find in Japan. if you ask they give you very good advice for the paring with the menu. The service is great and, from what I understood, their creative menu is renew every day.

I went back this place twice during my stay in Fukuoka. You will have an incredible time in this bistro in terns of food, wine and the atmosphere itself. There are thousands of restaurants in Fukuoka and many of them are high quality - but I have to admits Yorgo is by far one of top restaurants tha...t you will think "I will come back again & again". I accompanied a guest who was absolutely a foodie from Italy even turned silent as Kazuma's creation was beyond his expectation - he was impressed by each dish. I honestly feel like that I want to keep this place secret as I want to be able to get a seat anytime I want to go, but this place is too good to keep as a secret garden! Looking forward to going back Yorgo again!

This place is absolutely a "WOW" place. They have just opened this place about two months ago and this place is one of "MUST GO" places in Fukuoka city. If seats are available, I recommend you to sit at counter seats as you can observe everything that Kazuma (the owner & chef) and his wife do. They ...work so beautifully as a team. Kazuma prepares everything upon on your order - how he prepares each dish is almost like an art. Every single dish tastes good and looks fantastic. I also loved their wine selections - they serve "Natural or BIO" wines from various regions including Japanese wines! Kazuma's creations are based on both Japanese & French (and international) cuisine. He uses "LOCAL(= Fukuoka & Kyushu) fresh ingredients" with Japanese & international touches. Every single details that you can touch, see and feel are simply beautiful - well designed, well taken care and you can feel their LOVE to this newly born restaurant/bistro! I am already looking forward to going back to Yorgo to savour Kazuma's amazing food & his selection of wines!
