“Surprisingly good ”
Taken a long break with my wife in Japan, travelling from Kansai-Osaka-Tokyo, after 10 days we really don know what to eat so decided walk around Shinjuku area trying our luck see if can get something special and more local, found this shop frequent by local so we decided to try it out, we go for th...e “ catch of the day” ( fish that are seasonal), the chief will ask you what is your preference, if you can’t speak is ok, just point, i am extremely surprise when the first 3 type were serve, we end up order all that recommended by chief and i strongly recommend to try the fresh oyster( if its in season) .. customers here are extremely friendly too...when they figure out we are foreigner, they also recommend us the “ must eat dishes” from the shop.. excellent service too.. and its value for money on the quality of food and service provided... The best Sashimi we had for the trip..👍
“My last hurrah in Tokyo!”
Tried this place two days after going to Sushi Dai and it compares very well! Had the a la carte version and highly recommend the otoro, uni, horse mackerel, salmon roe. Nice little place in bustling Shinjuku.
“Amazing sushi made right in front of you.”
My sushi loving daughter (12) and I tentatively walked in to this small sushi bar. We were the only non-Locals there - usually a good sign. Our waiter spoke a little English and there was a translated menu. The sushi master was in good form with a well practised routine complemented by some very pre...cise knifework. The food was superb - easily the best we've had. This is a gem of a place - friendly people, attentive service and first class food. Recommended.
“small shop takes credit”
up close and personal with sushi chefs. Good for lunch after tiring walk around Shinjuku area shops.
“Fresh Sushi and Sashimi”
We had an early dinner here, no need to wait at 6ish pm. The fish were all fresh and reasonably priced. Location is great, service is good. No complaints.
