日本料理 「十二颯」

Solid choice for our first night right off the plane while we were staying at the Hilton. Under other circumstances I'm not sure I'd come here but it fit our bill nicely. The service was great, the teppanyaki prepared without excessive fanfare. The food was good but not exceptional.

The quality of the fish was not fresh. The unagi, uni and toro was served too cold,. The sushi chef was sloppy and lacked hygiene practices in preparing the sushi. Sushi from takashimaya food court is much better than Junisoh!

We went for a last-minute dinner and they found us a table right away. We both had a teppanaki set course about US$250pp. The chef made teppanaki wagyu beef tasted heavenly, whether it was my sirloin or my partner's premium cut. I have had teppanaki and wagyu steak before, but never this delicious! ...It was perfectly seasoned and delicious without anything on it. 100% recommended for food 10/10; service 8.5/10; atmosphere 9/10.

In our recent visit to Japan, our dinner here ranks as our favorite meal of the entire trip. Our son was in awe as the chef entertained us all with his charm and skills. My wife ranked here fresh lobster among the best she's ever had. Weeks later, my son still raves about his steak. It was an expens...ive meal, but the entire experience made it well worth the price. We'll be back for sure.

I had seven pieces of sushi. They were of the kind to be silently enjoyed, with the fatty tuna and the sea urchin as inevitable favourites. It comes at a price but I thought it was all more than worth it. Service might be improved as the chef providing me with the sushi was busy with much more than ...my sushi. The wait before being seated was surprising given the fact that there was one other guest at the sushi counter. There are places in Tokyo that are more expensive for good reasons. And there are many places that offer satisfying sushi for far less. What I do is figure out what I can and want to spend and find a place that fits that bill. Bad can sushi not be in Tokyo is my experience.
