“Fun”
This was our first experience of karaoke, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We couldn’t figure out how to work the machine in the room so had to get the staff to come up and help, which ate into our allocated time. So, suggest you ask for help when you arrive, to avoid wasting any time. The machin...e had English lyrics and a decent selection of songs, some with the official music videos and some with hilariously odd 80s style videos. You can order drinks to your private room via a separate tablet. This was all in Japanese but we figured it out with the help of Google Translate. Once we got going we had great fun and ended up staying for 90 minutes rather than the 30 minutes we had originally planned. The front desk rings when you have 10 minutes left, so you can just ask to extend it. Price quoted at the desk is per person per half hour. The price depends on the time of day - early evening it was 600 yen per person per half hour. Really fun and we will happily return.
