“OVERPAID FOR FOOD AND DRINKS NOT ORDERED - Staff failed to correct ticket after realizing their mistake.”
If you have read any of my restaurant reviews you will find that I'm a tough, but fair critic. My opinions are just that, but are based off of worldwide travels. So with that said lets talk about this place. What did I like. Vibe was fantastic. Very quaint eating establishment serving authentic... southern Japanese food. Staff was friendly and food came out hot and fast and tasted fantastic. Why do I give them such a low star rating??? When we first ordered, we had 2 of each but it was not enough so I ordered 1 more each for a total of 3 orders of dumplings and 3 orders of beef croquet. What I got instead was 2 more of each item. When server realized she had made mistake, they sat the food down, said sorry and did nothing to fix it. Then my grandson wanted some more water. I motioned to his glass and ask led for more. When I turned back around I was being served another beer...which I did not ask for. Seeing that she messed up again, nothing was done to correct the ticket. When I went to pay was told sorry and asked to pay 11000 yen. That was about 5000 more than I ordered. Was i frustrated, absolutely. Why just because your on vacation in a foreign country you have to put up with crappy service and be expected to take it us beyond me. We all work hard for the money we spend. My goal is to make you aware of my experiences both good and bad to help you make an informed decisions as to where to spend your hard earned cash. This place is right around the corner of Hotel Sardonyx, Tokyo. Would I ever eat there again, I doubt it. Maybe your experience will be different then ours and I wish you all the best of luck.

“A True Local Restaurant”
What a fun experience with friendly local flavor and authentic Japanese food. Lots of small courses some grilled at the table. Simple but one of the best meals we had in Japan.

“Kyushu speciality restaurnat”
I frequently have lunch in this restaurant nearby my office. It is located in the ground floor of APA hotel. You can enjoy various Kyusyu (western island of Japan) cuisine. My recommends are Campon noodle or chicken namban(deep fried marinated chicken). English menu is also available.
