“Reminds me of fondue!”
This place is cool. A great family environment. Reminds me of fondue. You order from an iPad, and they bring a variety of different entrées your table that you then proceed to cook on the table. We had a lotta fun with this, and the food was very good. We had excellent service!

“All you can eat Shabu Shabu”
Nice, clean, english friendly restaurant in Shinjuku. The menu is presented on a "Ipad" style screen. You just touch your selections for 90 minutes on the All You Can Eat Set. Like a few cocktails with dinner? Just add the all you can drink Set. Reasonable cost for the set menus.

“Shabu-shabu Restaurant at Shinjuku”
This restaurant is near the Isetan Mall at Shinjuku area. It is an eat all you can shabu-shabu. You can choose from eat all you can shabu-shabu with sushi or eat all you can shabu-shabu with dimsum. Everything you want to order is through a tablet on the table. Service is fast.

“This is NOT Shabu-Shabu”
Do not come here for the Shabu-Shabu... It is actually shabby-shabby... While they real you in on an all you can eat menu all seems fine until the food arrives. Here's a pic of the beef shabu-shabu... It is literally more than half fat... And not marblized fat, just fat... the beef looks more like a... piece of bacon with a little meat hanging on to a mostly fat slice. This is a no!

“Cook Your Own Food”
This was advertised as a "Buffet" restaurant, but it isn't. I understand a buffet to be a selection of prepared foods already cooked and set out for you to choose and eat. This is like a Japanese version of a Fondue. If I go out for a meal I don't expect to cook it myself so never been a fan of thos...e either. Here there is a hotplate in the middle of the table with a bowl of water on it. You have to choose a selection of meats/vegetables from the menu, which are then brought to you and you drop it in the water to boil. Ever tried thin sliced boiled Pork? no neither had I and everything that came out of this arrangement was pretty tasteless. There were some sauces brought to the table and without them the food would have been pretty much inedible .Definately one to avoid if you want to eat out and not cook your own. Price wise I don't think i t is particularly cheap as some seem to suggest
