“The Place for Excellent Shabu Shabu”
Zakuro is a fabulous Shabu Shabu restaurant. Wonderful meat, excellent service and friendly, helpful servers. We dined there twice during our recent stay in Tokyo and an additional number of times during our prior visits to the city. The food and service at Zakuro are consistently excellent.

“A Delight From The Underground”
My mom walked past the Zakuro menu and was eager to eat at the restaurant. Zakuro is located below the ground floor and near the stairs that lead to the entrance of the building. I decided to eat three dishes: sashimi, stewed beef, and sliced beef with sweet mustard sauce with sides of tomatoes, ric...e, pickles, and soup. Even without the soy sauce, the sashimi tasted fresh as usual. The stewed beef and sliced beef tasted good. We were even served free hot tea with FREE refills! I was thrilled to eat in that restaurant, and I would recommend Shabu-Shabu lovers and Japanese tourists to eat at this good restaurant. In addition, the restaurant is located on the street where there can be a no-car zone, so there is a high chance you can walk pass this restaurant at Ginza. If you do see the restaurant, try it!

“Not sure about it”
While the shabu-shabu was very good, we were kind of left to flounder as English speakers. They brought our vegetables after we had cooked and eaten the meat, it seemed like an afterthought. I'm not sure that we had a true shabu-shabu experience and it was pretty expensive.

Excellent place to taste both shabu shabu and sukiyaki at the same time. The beef is of fantastic quality. The service and the food was fantastic.

“Authentic sukiyaki and shabu-shabu that’s accessible for English speakers”
Excellent shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurant in the heart of Ginza. I tend to not like paying for a meal where I have to cook the whole darn thing ;) so K-BBQ and shabi-shabu are not my preference. I ordered the sukiyaki and it was excellent. They set up a small stove at your table and the servic...e team course out your meal at a perfect pace. This place is also very well ventilated—an often overlooked criterion white K-BBQ or shabu-shabu establishments. There is a small allotment of English menus upon request, and I had no problems navigating the language barrier here. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place.
