Grilled meat 玄 （グリルドミート ゲン）

I was a little hesitant to dine here alone as a solo traveler, but from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such a warm smile and genuine hospitality that I immediately felt comfortable. I was seated at the counter with my own grill, which was perfect for a solo diner. I had already looked at... the menu beforehand, so I knew I wanted the filet. I also ordered a salad, and the lovely woman taking care of me recommended one for me. She was absolutely right — it was delicious. When it came to the steak, I was asked whether I wanted to grill it myself or have them prepare it for me. I decided to leave it to the professionals, and I am so glad I did. The woman who took care of me grilled the filet perfectly, then sliced it and presented it to me. She was almost as happy as I was when she saw my reaction. And then I took the first bite… Wow. I honestly did not know steak could taste this good. It was incredibly tender, buttery and full of flavour, with just a little seasoning. No complicated sauce was needed. The quality of the meat spoke for itself. This was my last dinner in Japan, and what a way to finish the trip. I have a feeling I am going to compare every steak I eat from now on to this one — and I am not sure many will come close. The staff were wonderful, professional and genuinely welcoming. As a solo traveler, I never once felt out of place. I had such a lovely evening and felt truly taken care of. The restaurant was quite busy when I visited, so I would recommend making a reservation in advance. An unforgettable final dinner in Japan. Highly recommended.

We are still raving about what a great meal we had at Grilled Meat. It was our last night of vacation so we splurged on the 13 course meal. The staff could not have been more kind and accommodating about helping us through the various courses. The atmosphere and food were both excellent, and it was ...very fun to try some what for us were new and interesting dishes.

Whole experience was perfect 2 staff did their very best to make me feel welcome trying to explain me the menu in English as it was my first time trying wagyu in Japan and second overall. Their hospitality is another level, place is cozy and their wagyu is out of this world. All their meat is wagy...u and they recommend me Ichibo cut which was melting while tasting it. Highly recommend for very affordable price. I will come back again. Thank you for amazing experience!
