“Please visit if you are in Shinjuku”
Excellent steak option if you are in the Shinjuku area. For travellers, the waiter spoke fluent English and was very friendly. All of the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I am not sure if a reservation is required as we visited on a Monday around 4:30pm just after they opened, so it was not ve...ry busy. We went for the set menus and every course was absolutely amazing. My father and I can be very picky eaters when it comes to many flavours, however everything was absolutely delicious. I cannot get my father to eat mushrooms to save his life, however he ate all the mushrooms on his plate, everything was amazing. We sadly opted out of the desert and coffee as we were so full at the end. Compliments to the chef! For two people, expect to spend around 25,000-30,000 yen (this included; set menus for two people (steak & steak and lobster) and 2 drinks each. I got the Peach Grapefruit cocktail and it was very good. I expressed to the waiter that I do not prefer any seafood and they were very accommodating with switching options! The restaurant was not hard to find, however it is located underground so keep an eye out, we walked past it twice!

“excellent service, solid meal”
Was recommended by our hotel. We made dinner reservations the day before through our hotel. Location is in B1F level, not hard to find. Service was very attentive and wonderful. We sat at the teppan table. We came for the steak, A5 which was the best part. Disappointed that not all dishes were Japan...ese (ordinary creme brulee for dessert, not even a Japanese twist, English-style tea). The worse part is that they allow smoking inside this small restaurant. We lucked out sitting next to non smokers but when we were about to leave, a new couple sat next to us and about to smoke. This reason alone we will not return to this restaurant. You ruin good quality dining experience with smoke!!

“Great secret steak place, run by the Yakuza maybe?”
Traveling around Japan has led us to all kinds of places. We find this really good steak place tucked down in a basement with almost no people in it on a Saturday night Imagine a super high end place, with a large group of wait staff and expensive food (regular steak house prices though) empty - o...dd and strange Enough about that, the food was amazing and I think the Kobe need was mouth watering good. Trust me when I say this place is the real deal To my yakuza comment, feels like a front for something else but enjoy it!!!
