“One of the best meals of my life”
We had the omakase. For a very reasonable price (8k yen) you receive a trip to A5 wagyu heaven - each course melty, juicy and flavourful, all delicious in their own way. Staff were warm and steadfast in waiting us. A must visit.

“First class!”
This has to be one of the top yakiniku (Korean style bbq) restaurants in Japan. The owner meticulously chooses the beef and is always studying to serve new types of dishes.

“Rare indulgence of A5 Wagyu beef, will go again!”
We had omakase meat dinner at Jumbo Hanare at 9.30 pm which was late for me but it was worth staying up a little later. We were rewarded with the most tender cuts of beef and beef heart and tongue! It is a very low key chill place with a very friendly and accommodating staff who made sure that we ...cook the meat properly (ie not overcook it). Don't miss the noharayaki (dipped in raw egg). After we thought we were done, the chef pointed to the chateaubriand on the board. Of course we had to have a taste of it! It was a delectable end to a perfect meal! Definitely try Jumbo's club soda with plum wine for a satisfying finish! Thank you and hope to dine again at Jumbo Hanare soon!

“Not for vegetarians ”
This place has excellent beef. There may be other food but I’m not sure what it is. Go for the beef, have some beer, order the omakase, enjoy the trip. You could order more food if you want. There are traditional cuts as well as lots of Organ meat. It’s casual and fun. It’s also, for the type of res...taurant it is, an excellent deal.

“Absolutely fabulous beef”
Chef Nanchan does a mean classy act with his kagoshima beef.. heart,tongue,shoulder and everything else. And he does a wonderful beef rice. Great service and must go!
