“Perfect hidden gem .”
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a hidden gem in Narita, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The space itself is cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for such a unique culinary experience. The chef masterfully presents a refined fusion of world-class cuisine, c...rafting dishes that make you feel like you’re traveling across the globe—all from the heart of Narita. What makes it even more impressive is that the chef seamlessly multitasks, not only preparing exquisite meals but also creating thoughtfully paired drinks, adding another layer to the experience. Each dish was beautifully presented and made with high-quality organic ingredients, highlighting both creativity and care in every detail. The flavors were balanced, exciting, and truly memorable. This is more than just a meal—it’s a journey. If you’re in Narita and looking for something intimate, unique, and crafted with passion, this spot is absolutely worth visiting.

“wonderful hidden gem, saved me from airport food + veg/an options”
narita airport food sucks because covid shut down most restos - yoshinoya nad 7/11 the only 24hr options (all else closes 4-7pm). i found this gem, a quick 20 min walk + train ride away from terminal 2. flavorful spices, a full bar (+ 3 kinds of kombucha!), and indian, sri lankan, spanish + asean... influences - YUM. the owner working that night was bartender + chef, + service/busser, and provided kind service. my cilantro mojito was well balanced, the organic pickles crunchy (vinegar, not fermented), the local + organic watercress and ginger dressing salad really simple but tbh surprisingly delicious, the oyster ajillo lovely (the sichuan peppercorn was a lovely surprise) and my favorite, the lamb skewers (2 to an order, 500yen) were generous, extremely tender and robustly spiced with flavor but not fiery/hot.. all in all, a very welcome change from traditional japanese food. i ended my meal with the kulfi dessert: shaved iced milk, flavored with coriander, pistachio, saffron, rose. light, refreshing, and satisfying - not too sweet. went really well with the hot spiced herbal tea. the chef/owner opened up in feb 2020, was open for only 3 weeks before having close for a couple of months because of covid, now open 6 days a week from 4pm-1am every day (closed tuesday). i had a rough day, + spending my evening here helped to end it on a very positive note. lastly, the pricing was also very affordable (at least, according to san francisco standards). support great small businesses!
