“Highlight of our time in Tokyo - an unmissable and Westerner friendly kaiseki experience”
An incredible experience with Chef Yuki and his team who were wonderful hosts and very welcoming to Westerners, speaking excellent English. They also cater to dietary requirements, including one of our party who is pescatarian. Each course of our kaiseki meal was prepared with great care and accompa...nied by a personal story and reflection from Yukisan who is a second generation chef. We enjoyed a range of dishes with exquisite flavours and beautiful presentation, which were well complemented by the sake pairing that we chose. This made our time in Tokyo and the restaurant well deserved a Michelin star - make sure to go!

“Exceptional Fine Dining in Rippongi!”
Absolutely exceptional. I thoughtful journey thorough Japanese seasonal food, wonderfully presented, explained and the tasted is even better. It deserves a Michelin Star and is without a doubt at that level. Such a welcoming lovely environment to eat in and we were fortunate that the whole team spea...k fantastic English so we understood every detail. Thoughtful touches like photos and Sake cup gifts rounded off a fantastic night.

“Easily one of the best meals and experiences of my life”
My first Kaiseki, and my first fugu! Thank you to Chef Yuuki Tanaka and the entire staff at Ise Sueyoshi for making my last night in Tokyo memorable! It was incredible to taste these amazing ingredients, so masterfully prepared, and to hear the stories of all the people in Chef Takaka’s hometown w...ho made it all possible. A must-visit if you’re ever in Tokyo!

“One of the best meals I have ever eaten!”
This is a tiny restaurant with a great atmosphere. I think there were only two eating areas. We ate at the counter as a party of four and I think there was a larger table in a separate room. The service was perfect. The staff explained each course and ingredient. The whole meal told a story and didn...’t feel fake. We had the opportunity to try a lot of unique Japanese ingredients.The chef clearly takes pride in their food and the whole experience. It is a pricey meal, but I felt it was worth it, especially compared to some other high-end meals I’ve had where the service was not great and the food was mediocre. Here everything was five star. They were also able to accommodate my gluten allergy and my meal was just as spectacular as my family’s who had the regular items. Go - you won’t be disappointed.
