Serafina NEW YORK 丸の内

The restaurant is in the basement of the newly opened Palace Hotel, right in front of the Imperial Palace East Garden. The menu is good NY menu and it is very good place for relaxed lunch, brunch or dinner. Great place for a rest during sightseeing.

location is convenient for me, always crowded so it's better for a reservation. main dish 真鯛のじゃが芋包み焼き, a little different from my imagine, but taste is OK. I went to lunch is early so the restaurant is quiet around some music good for a break.

Super convenient access from the Tokyo Metro Otemachi station where 4 different lines are crossing. My friend and I, three of us, had wonderful Sunday branch as the casual but high since New York style restaurant let us stay over 2 hours along with pre-fixed Italian course dishes. Because we made ...reservation in advance via Japan’s Ikkyu.com, we could enjoy special discount for the weekend branch course = which includes appetizers, pizza, pasta, main dish and dolce with coffee or tea = for 3200 yen or about 30 US dollars for each person. They gave us a drink option for free, too! So why don’t we make a toast with a glass of sparkling wine? After the branch, it may be a good idea to take a walk by the palace to make your weekend perfect.

good pizza in an underground tunnel below the Palace Hotel. Always crowded. Small so you need reservations.

We had just finished our self-guided walking tour of the Imperial Gardens and were looking for a place for lunch before heading to the airport to head home. Serafina was great. The lunch special was only Y1100 for a salad and a personal pizza. Pizzas were delicious- crispy thin crust, fresh toppin...gs. Service was a bit slow - you had to watch for a waitress and flag them down for more water, the bill, etc. We finally decided to just flag down any staff member rather than waiting for our waitress. But a great spot for a leisurely lunch.
