高輪バール・デルソーレ

Fantastic quaint Italian bar and restaurant located within reach of the Shinagawa train station and Shinagawa Prince Hotel complex. Amazing creative Italian food, friendly service and great coffee. A thoroughly enjoyable meal from beginning to end.

One of the better Italian places in Japan, having had a very hit and miss experience so far. "Cover Charge" was a couple of mini-bruschettas (dry bread style, which while traditional wasn't really to my taste - I'd have preferred a tiny minestrone amuse bouche). Good spaghetti, cooked al dente, nice... tomatoes and OMG PROPER CHEESE (Pecorino cheese, rather than mozarella or whatever random cheese they lay their hands on). Passable sangiovese. Meal was good so I had a limoncello to follow, and this was also good. Slightly expensive (came to a bit over $50AUD) but not excessively so.

Was looking for a decent coffee and stumbled across this comment place and it did not disappoint. Smooth and delicious, the coffee was great and staff very helpful and friendly.

First visit with friends. Friendly welcome from young server, ordered bottle of wine and beers. Food ordered 2 spaghetti bolognase vegetarian pizza and shellfish pasta. All food was delicious and well presented, staff were luvly, place was busy with fellow hockey players and staff accommodated la...rger tables, worth a visit :) :)

Visited for a quick dinner. Greeted by a couple of different wait staff. Ordered two (small) side salads, two (small) mains - one was literally a grilled chicken breast and no accompaniments and the other a teacup sized helping of penne pasta. One Kirin beer and one (small) shandygaff. That cost ¥52...20/US$48. The food was very overpriced and nowhere near value for what you pay. There are a number of other places immediately available in the area, recommend looking elsewhere.
