Gluten Free T’s Kitchen

Avoid, avoid, AVOID. If you're looking for a nice, tasty, freshly cooked GF meal, in modern, comfortable surroundings with friendly staff, then you won't want to come here. We visited in late August 2026 because my son is gluten intolerant. The food was so-so. I strongly suspect the vegetable spri...ng rolls were reheated from the day before. They did NOT look fresh at all. The same goes for my sons main dish - some fried chicken number. The fries were good - freshly made, and the two ramen bowls we had were OK too. Service was poor. We added desserts to our bill, and after a 10min wait, I asked where they were. I was told 'another five minutes'. At this point I cancelled the order, which earned me a prolonged dirty look from one of the (non Japanese) cooking staff. The delay was ridiculous. It was NOT busy. There were two other couples there, so they weren't exactly rushed off their feet. The other main complaint is the place is *TINY* ... just SOOOO cramped. The guy sitting behind me was nudging into me with his elbows as he ate. There must be space for just 8 people in total. It was horribly cramped. The small wooden uncomfortable bar-stool type seats only added to the dismal experience. If you want a decent GF eating experience, I can recommend the Gluten Free T's at Ueno Hirokoji. But this place? I'd rather eat a whole high fibre loaf of bread than eat here again. Just an awful experience - and the absolute low-point of our trip to Tokyo.

Food was amazing. Gluten Free was necessary for me. The options were many, the prices fair, and great service! Will be coming back for more!!

We went there to be able to try traditional Japanese food in Gluten free version. The food was great, with a good variety and they also have a gluten free beer. We came back also the day after! Only negative point is about the place that is really small with few tables, but definitely recommended if... you are in Tokyo!

Full GF menu which was exactly what I was in need of after a few days of trying to eat carefully. To top it off, the food was amazing and even got a great GF beer!

Incredible food with a wide variety. I don’t typically eat GF but I couldn’t even tell the difference. It’s so good, I’m writing this review as I eat!
