We’ve tried Ichiran a few times before and always enjoyed it, but sadly this visit was the worst experience so far. We even paid extra for toppings like dried seaweed and a half-boiled egg to make the ramen better, but it didn’t really help. The broth and noodles just didn’t taste as fresh or as fla...vorful as we remembered. The waiting time was also pretty frustrating. We were first given a ticket and had to wait around 40 minutes outside just to get into the queue, then another 20 minutes before getting a seat. For what we got in the end, it really didn’t feel worth the wait.

I loved the ramen at this place; it's possibly one of the best value places in Tokyo. I ordered the classic ramen with pork and green onions, mild spice, medium noodle texture, medium dashi, garlic, and medium richness. The broth was incredibly flavorful. This dish cost me 1,080 yen and water is fre...e. The only downside is that the place is small, and we had to wait in line for over an hour to sit down and eat. They don't take reservations and one of the most relevant features of the site is that you eat alone. I recommend it.

Walked in there after a long-day shift. I like the atmosphere there. The staff are super friendly. The ramen and icy cold beer took away all my stress. Really refilled my energy.

This was an awesome experience. Nice ramen, with lots of secret sauce, thats the recipe for success. This is not fancy, but it’s good and cheap, I love it.

Very good quality ramen and friendly staff. Just keep in mind that during late nights there could be a 30-60 minutes wait depending the day.
