Dochaku

I see this place is categorised as ‘Italian’, which is true to an extent, but even the pasta and pizza dishes available here come with a local twist that put it a step above a standard trattoria. The restaurant runs across several floors (we were on the first floor), with each level having - as see...ms the Japanese custom - only a dozen or so places. We were seated at the bar on the first floor in full sight of the workings of the staff as they dealt with the 'dumb waiter' delivery and the various drinks offers, My starter of a burrata salad and four cheese pizza (very crispy, very good) and my were perfectly fine, though I suspect some other more adventurous diners got more from the menu. Come here and you won't be disappointed, but maybe also not hugely excited.
