“Touristic yet good food !”
What's good about this place is for those who like to eat fresh off the shelf seafood. For some types of seafood (crabs, squid which are live), you can pick them and the restaurant will cook it for you. We came here to try 2 types of crabs : the snow crab and the hanasaki crab. The latter costs abo...ut half the price of the former, but it tasted sweeter. We paid around 7390¥ (S$93) inclusive of a starter dish. The ambience is always buzzing, as there are lots of tourists around.

“Good fresh foodd”
Had lunch and it was so fresh, otoro, hokke ikura.. The staff were fast & courteous. We had spaces for lunch. My daughter left her celphone at the toilet and they called our guide. My daughter came back for it!! 5 stars for honesty!!!

“Spectacular fresh Toro ! Great experience ”
Kitano Gourmet is a must visit in Sapporo. The food is as fresh as it gets - as they serve you the same produce they are retailing in their adjacent shop. The chu toro is a must try - the quality - and quantity -you get here for 2500 yen would be unaffordable or unavailable elsewhere. Hairy crab ...was also excellent. To wash down the meal a bottle of sochu or sake comes at a very affordable price.

“Fishy breakfast”
Came here in the late morning to browse and get some breakfast. The only problem was picking what to eat!!! Finally we settled on some pricey king crab, but why not? Was hard not to come back the next day.

“Seafood Heaven”
This restaurant focus on fresh seafood from source to table. While price is generally higher compare to normal restaurant, the fresh quality compensate the price. The restaurant has two levels , where level 2 caters to larger group. I believe that this is one of a major tourist spot as we can see se...veral tour groups dining at the venue. Our favourite dish from the menu is the grilled scallop . Its so juicy and sweet. Other than that, seafood rice bowl is also equally good. As for crab, it is fresh and sweet but unlike our Malaysian / Singapore way of preparing it with different sauces , they just grilled it and hence you actually tasted the actual flavour of the meat itself.
