BIRD WATCHING

We have been travelling throughout Japan for three weeks and are westerners. We found this bar to be a little gem! We were able to share a range of dishes which included both Japanese and western style. We shared fresh bream sashimi and the most delicious pork and ginger yakitori! On the Western sid...e of things we enjoyed olives, potato salad and chicken liver pate. Keeping our drinking in the same vein we had a fresh and crisp Sapporo beer followed by a local Pinot Noir. Service was cheery, helpful, and pleasant. If we hadn’t run out of time, we would definitely go back!

We’re rounding up because of the great service. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the food - both i...n terms of quality and portion size. The Carpaccio and Tsukuni, in particular, were mediocre; not up to the standard that this restaurant projects. We found both lacking in flavor. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is excellent. Prices are on the higher side, but, with that said, keep in mind that this really isn’t a yakitori restaurant and is closer to a French restaurant.

Very interesting concept of wine paring : Natural wine vs. Izakaya style french & japanese. The selection of wine by the glass is in good variety. Definitely coming back again next year! Cheers

This little restaurant and wine bar is great place to meet locals and watch the party life of Sapporo. So easy to find, just next to Noribesa ferris wheel. The staff a so freindly that you sure to have great night out. Say I to them from me :)

So refreshing to eat at this Asian/French fusion restaurant when been eating all weak at different Japanese restaurants. Definitely try it out if you want something else in Sapporo.
