ジンギスカン 羊飼いの店 『いただきます。』

We recently visited Sapporo (from Australia) and we were keen to try Ghengis Khan and in particular - authentic Sapporo lamb. We didn't have a reservation and while the restaurant was busy, the staff managed to fit us in, which we appreciated . The small restaurant - with open kitchen was filled wit...h smoke from the grills - but we were surprised that none of the smoke/smell was absorbed by our clothing. The staff spoke a little English and helped explain to us the QR code ordering . We ordered various cuts of Sapporo lamb - inc loin and sausage . This lamb, together with the vegetables were all fresh and delicious. This isn't the cheapest Ghengis Khan restaurant in Sapporo, but if you want quality local lamb and a well priced drinks - this is your restaurant.

Taste : Good grill lamp, soft and smooth meat, the smell is great you will not feel like eating lamp but one great meat Price : Middle to high price, compare with quantity in each dish Service : At the peak time, you will have to wait for a long time, may be atleast 1hr.

This restaurant has English menu. Recommended menu are very delicious. Please come before 4 pm. Because many local come here.

Entered that shop by accident- the price value relation is not at all good, the meat portions are quite small and the taste isn’t that great.

If you've never tried Japanese domestic Lambs/Mutton, you should. The flavor is completely different from imported meat. Yes, its a lot more expensive but worth the price. This restaurant is owned by the farm so they have various cuts of meat which you won't find in other places. Service can improve... a bit, our server was inpatient with us first then a new person came and she was very nice. All seats are at the counter so not recommended for large parties. Also you will come out smelling like a BBQ so wear washable things. They do have a fabric freshener spray at the exit which is a nice touch. Cash Only!
