ラーメン 一本亭

Not worth the hype.. probably one of the worst ramen I had. I had the shoyu ramen, and the broth was really bland. Along with noodles with mediocre texture, this bowl of noodle was like something I could make by myself at home in 15 minutes. The restaurant was small but kids friendly and that’s abou...t it. Huge disappointment.

The ramen here was alright, but the portions were huge. As there were 6 of us, we pretty much tried all the flavors and decided that the black soy sauce based ramen was the best. To our surprise, the star dish was actually their homemade gyozas which were pan fried on the spot. Definitely a must ord...er when visiting Ippontei.

This ramen shop was in a back alley so have to find for awhile. We went in at 1130 and slowly there are alot more customers there. I ordered the black shoyu and it is pretty nice! Quite a big bowl for me too.

Taste is normal. But the noodle texture is really low quality. We came here bcoz of the decent rating from google map, but indeed very disappointed. Noodle was not tangy, the soup was bland. The gyoza was decent. The only dish we finished. NOT recommend this shop at all.

This restaurant was in a back lane and not easy to find on a wet snowy winter's night. In fact the place looked shut for business apart from a lamp at its door.. we knocked on the door not sure whether it was the restaurant entrance or not. We were rewarded with a nice meal of different varieties... of ramen - the curly chewy kind, and a side order of gyoza. The shoyu ramen was a little on the saltish side, the shio ramen was just nice. Not bad at all, a little short on the ingredients and can do with better ventilation - we really smelled of the restaurant after the meal. Worth a try but nothing to shout about really.
