“Wonderful food and such friendly staff”
We visited for dinner on 8 July and had a fabulous meal. Very tasty and filling and all at really reasonable price. My wife had the vegetable and potato noodles, and I had the Dotonbori Yaki which was washed down with some plum wine and ice-cold Asahi. We were made very welcome by the wonderful st...aff member Linh, who was so kind and patient with us as we bumbled along with our few words of Japanese.

“First timers”
As we have nothing to judge it by, this was an excellent 1st experience. I had the #1 and wife had the veggie one. Both were tasty and filling! Service was quick and efficient. We were early, 5:30 pm. No wait. There may be better and cheaper versions, this is a great start!

“Halal Okonomiyaki Option, But Just Okay”
We visited Chibo Okonomiyaki to try their halal Okonomiyaki. While the portion was generous and the sauce presentation was a nice touch, the taste was average and the price felt a little steep for what we got. Overall, it’s an okay option if you’re really craving Okonomiyaki and need a halal choice ...— but if you can find alternatives, try those first.

“Okonomiyaki for tourist”
Tourist friendly restaurant serving Okonomiyaki - a cabbage omelette with seafood and other condiments. Good for first timers in Japan or first time to try okonomiyaki. Pricey compared to side street joints. Chibo operates with fast food speed and seevice.

“Stay away”
If I could give zero stars, I would. The service was terrible and food mediocre at best. They screwed up 2 of our orders and completely forgot about bringing us our drinks and third meal until 2 of us had finished eating. Even after reminding them, it still took forever to receive the food and drin...ks. For $120 for 3 people it was super over priced sadness. Definitely would not recommend!
